FORE the Future Society unites professionals who love golf and are passionate about making a difference. Through engaging events and meaningful volunteer opportunities, we support the growth of First Tee – Upstate South Carolina.
FORE the Future Member Guest Tournament
Join us on Saturday, August 8, 2026, for the FORE the Future Member Guest Tournament.
Tee times will begin at 12:00 PM.
A portion of each entry fee will be donated to First Tee, helping provide opportunities for kids and teens to learn valuable life skills through the game of golf.
The tournament will feature a best ball format with two person teams. There will also be competitions for long drive and closest to the pin, along with awards for overall gross champions and overall net champions.
Your $240 per team entry fee includes:
• Green fee
• Cart fee
• Tee gift
• Tournament competitions and prizes
• A donation supporting First Tee programming and youth development
There will be a separate skins competition, which is cash only and $40 per team. This is a 50/50 skins competition, where 50 percent of the pot will go to First Tee — Upstate South Carolina and the other 50 percent will go to the skin winners.
Are you not an FTF member, but want to play? You can join monthly or annually to gain entry into the event.

Requirements
Individual Membership
- Annual Fee: $115 (sponsors one child to complete First Tee – Upstate SC’s 6-week curriculum)
- Payment Schedule: Standard: January 1 | Late Enrollment: Pro-rated fees based on remaining months
Couples/Partner Membership
- Annual Fee: $200 (helps fund nearly two children through First Tee – Upstate SC’s curriculum)
- Incentives & Perks: Bonus points toward awards, flexible participation, optional exclusive couple-focused events
- Payment Schedule: Standard: January 1 | Late Enrollment: Pro-rated fees based on remaining months

Top Donor Incentives
- Local Golf Outing: Top 8 fundraisers earn a local golf outing
- Regional Golf Trip: If grant goal is met, top 8 fundraisers earn a regional golf trip

Become a Watson Links Mentor
FTF members have the opportunity to become mentors through our Watson Links partnership. Eight-time Major Champion Tom Watson’s initiative provides a bridge from golf lessons on the driving range to playing on a real golf course for aspiring players ages 10 to 18. The model is simple: pair adult mentor golfers with junior golfers for fun, relaxed rounds of golf to hone basic skills, introduce course etiquette, and reinforce valuable life skills – all for free!
