The Young Professionals Council (YPC) is a network of active young professionals in the Upstate who are dedicated to advancing the mission of the First Tee — Upstate South Carolina through fundraising efforts, volunteering as coaches, and broadening awareness of the First Tee.
YPC Mission
Members contribute to the growth and development of our overall organization. YPC supports through fundraising, awareness, and volunteer efforts to help our organization reach our goals of impacting the lives of kids and teens across the Upstate.
The YPC will host various events and golf outings throughout the year to provide networking opportunities for its members – the camaraderie that golf encourages, as well as a belief in the game’s values, ultimately define the drive behind the YPC.
Requirements
Be a young at heart professional over the age of 21
- Commit to playing in Our Annual Core Values Cup or be invited to play in Our Annual Cyder Cup
- Annually committing to an individual fundraising goal – GIVE or GET $500, which can be accomplished by:
- individual/business donations
- personal ticket purchases to First Tee events
- matching gift donations through your company
- Volunteer for a minimum of one day of First Tee programming, serve on the Board of YPC, or serve on an event committee

Cost
An Annual Membership Fee of $120
